The Telugu star Rana Daggubati is celebrating his birthday today on 14th December. Rana Daggubati belongs to the film background family, his father Suresh Babu and grandfather D. Ramanaidu were the producers. The interesting thing is that Rana Dagguabti is the nephew of Telugu star Venkatesh and also the cousin brother Nagarjuna's son Naga Chaitanya.

The Baahubali actor has worked in several films in Bollywood and Telugu but the stardom he got through SS Rajamouli's most loved and appreciated film Baahubali series. He played the Daredevil villain of Baahubali series, Bhallaladva and his presence made everyone scary.

Talking about the preparation for the role Rana Daggubati once told that he used to eat 7-8 times in a day. In every two hours he used to eat lots of rice, his target was to 40 eggs in a day. He had to gain at least 100 KG more weight for his tough role. Even he had to maintain the same physique for the long three years for the perfect look of his role.

Once in an interview, Rana Daggubati also told that he read lots of demon based books and Indian mythological like Mahabharat, Ramayana for the preparation of his role. Well, the preparation also worked for him and he was well appreciated for his performance in the film.

This role gave a huge turn to Rana Daggubati's career and now his upcoming movies are worth to watch.
