Godha : New poster of Basil Joseph, Wamiqa Gabbi, Tovino Thomas film released

The new poster of upcoming Malayalam film Godha has been unveiled online. Directed by Basil Joseph of Kunjiramayanam fame and jointly produced by C.V. Sarathi,  Mukesh R Mehta and Anoop Vasan under their respective banners E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions, the film is touted to be a wrestling sports drama. Godha stars Tovino Thomas as the male lead. The film also marks the Malayalam debut of Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi, who recently made waves with the brilliant portrayal of Manoja in her Tamil debut, the 2016 Selvaraghavan film Maalai Naerathu Mayakkam.

The new poster features Tovino Thomas and Wamiqa Gabbi. Tovino will be seen essaying the role of Anjaneya Das, a wrestling coach's son who have no interest in wrestling while Wamiqa portrays the role of a Punjabi wrestler, Adithi Singh.

Godha also stars an ensembe cast including writer-turned-actor Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Maala Parvathi, Hareesh Perumanna, Mammukoya and Sreejith Ravi. The music of the film composed by Shaan Rahman has already become a success ever since the makers released the first song from the album 'Aaro Nenjil' sung by Gowri Lakshmi.

Godha is scheduled to hit the screens on 12 May 2017.
