Fans of Tamil superstar Thala Ajith celebrate 100 days of Vivegam, but why?

Fans of Tamil superstar Thala Ajith celebrated 100 days of actor's recent release Vivegam on Friday. Directed by Siva, the action thriller hit the screens worldwide on August 24. Vivegam also marked the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara Haasan.

Though Vivegam took fantastic opening on day one, it failed to gain the momentum at the Box Office due to poor word of mouth. Also, the theatrical rights of the film have been sold for a massive price of Rs. 85 crore and this has worked against the film to receive the hit status. Vivegam is said to have collected more than Rs. 110 crore in its lifetime run, but the Thala Ajith starrer has reportedly recovered only 70% of share from the box office worldwide. Vivegam also emerged as the second biggest disaster of the year after Mahesh Babu's SPYder.

However, the disastrous result of Vivegam hasn't stopped the dedicated fans of Thala Ajith fans to celebrate the 100 days of film by trending #KWMegaBBVIVEGAM100Days on Twitter.

This is not the first time a flop film is getting trended on Twitter. Earlier, Twitterati trolled the makers of Mahesh Babu's SPYder to release the 50 days poster and trending the same on Twitter.
