Exclusive: This is when AR Murugadoss, Mahesh Babu's film will release

Mahesh Babu's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual with AR Murugadoss will be wrapped up by the end of this year. The film also marks the Tamil debut of the Tollywood actor. The untitled film stars Rakul Preet Singh as the main female lead.

In an exclusive interview with Catch, the Ghajini director revealed that his upcoming film with Mahesh will be wrapped up by December 2016. He also added that he is planning to release the film in April 2017.

AR Murugadoss was in Mumbai to promote his upcoming Bollywood film, Akira which is scheduled to hit the screens on 2 September 2016.

Speaking to Catch, Murugadoss told;

"After the release of Akira, I will resume the shooting of my film with Mahesh Babu. The shooting will be wrapped up December 2016 and we are planning to the release the film around April next year. The film will be an out-and-out action thriller.

"Now, it is too early to discuss about the film. Once I finish the film, I would be in a better position to talk about it more".

The upcoming film is jointly bankrolled by eight producers including NV Prasad, Tagore Madhu, Reliance Entertainment, Leo Productions, Mega Super Good Films, Fox Star Studios along with Mahesh Babu and director Murugadoss under their respective banners.
