Enthiran 2: Thalaiva and Khiladi to fight it out in a Rs 20 crore set

One of the most anticipated movies of this decade, '2.0' (Enthiran 2), made news again recently when the cast and technical crew were announced. Directed by Shankar, with music by AR Rahman, Rajnikanth returning to his Enthiran (Robot) avatar, Akshay Kumar making his Tamil debut with the gorgeous Amy Jackson as the leading lady, the movie clearly has all the right ingredients. The shoot of a romantic song featuring Rajnikanth and Amy has already been completed.

Director Shankar, who is touted as the Indian Spielberg, will commence the shooting of the action sequences from 18 February. Now it has been confirmed that a major fight sequence between Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar is going to be shot in a Rs 20 crore set. The expensive set has been constructed in Poonamalle, located in West Chennai.

Akshay Kumar, who is riding high in Bollywood after delivering 2016's first super success with Airlift, is very excited to shoot for his Tamil debut. The actor, who is a big Rajnikanth fan, revealed that he's thrilled to receive punches from his Thalaiva. He will be playing the villain in the film.

Enthiran 2 will be one of the most expensive Indian film ever as the makers have confirmed that it will be a Rs 350 crore project. The makers also roped in renowned Hollywood action director Kenny Bates, who choreographed actions in films like Die Hard, Pearl Harbor, and Transformers.

Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, chairman and founder of Lyca Mobile/Productions, 2.0 will be releasing in both Hindi and Tamil in 2017.
