Enthiran 2: First look of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar film to release soon

Good news for fans of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The first look of the much-awaited Shankar film, Enthiran 2, is all set to release soon. Earlier, Catch had reported that the shooting of the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran, is currently going at a brisk speed in Chennai.

As per our sources, superstar Rajinikanth is expected to join the shoot by the end of August. Meanwhile, Shankar had already shot all the portions that do not require the presence of the Thalaiva. Our sources also reveal that the super hit director is on the brink of locking the first look date of the film.

The teaser of Enthiran2 is slated to release on Rajinikanth's birthday in December. Enthiran 2, produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, chairman and founder of Lyca Mobile/Productions, has been made on a budget of Rs 350 crore - making it the most expensive film yet. The film stars Amy Jackson as the female lead and the music has been composed by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman.
