Dulquer Salmaan & Anu Emmanuel team up for Amal Neerad's romcom

The young hit machine of Malayalam cinema, Dulquer Salmaan has signed the upcoming film of director Amal Neerad. The actor will be playing the lead alongside Action Hero Biju fame Anu Emmanuel in the film.

The movie, which will reportedly be a romantic comedy, will be entirely different from the typical Amal Neerad fare, who's known for making action thrillers. The director has previously worked with Dulquer in 5 Sundarikal.

Anu Emmanual was initially offered to make her debut in Dulquer's 2015 super hit film Charlie. But the actress turned down the offer as she was writing her final exams at the same time. Later, she made her acting debut in Nivin Pauly starrer, Action Hero Biju.

Shooting for the untitled film will commence in the first week of April. The makers are planning to shoot the film in Kerala and US. The title of the film and the remaining cast will be announced soon.
