Cricketer-turned-actor Sreesanth to do a cameo in Anant Mahadevan's Aksar 2

It's widely known that former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is making his acting debut in the upcoming film of actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt, Cabaret. Touted as a romance drama, the former Indian pace bowler is essaying an important role in the film alongside Richa Chadda and Gulshan Devaiah, the leading stars of the film.

And the latest update is that Sreesanth is making a guest appearance in Anant Mahadevan's Aksar 2, a sequel to 2006 musical hit Aksar. The film stars Zareen Khan, Gautam Rode, and Lillete Dubey . Interestingly, the shooting of the film has already begun and the makers are yet to announce the lead male actor of the film. However, Anant had already shot the cameo scenes with Sreesanth.

Meanwhile, Sreesanth is currently shooting the remaining portions of his debut Malayalam film Team 5. The former cricketer will play the lead in the Suresh Govind directorial - which will reportedly revolve around five bikers. Nikki Galrani has been cast as the female lead.
