Brahmotsavam: Mahesh Babu becomes the highest paid Telugu actor, beats Pawan Kalyan

Mahesh Babu, the Telugu superstar and king of the overseas market has bagged a whopping amount of 30 crore for his upcoming film, Brahmotsavam. Creating history in Tollywood cinema, he has become the only actor to be paid such a huge amount for a single film.

The actor's last release, Srimanthudu, was a runaway blockbuster and broke all records to become the second-highest grossing Telugu film ever. The superstar was in the news recently when the overseas rights of his film sold for Rs 13 crore, beating Sardaar Gabbar Singh (releasing on April 8, 2016) and the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali:The Beginning.

The 30 crore superstar will be seen romancing Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pranitha Subhash in Brahmotsavam. The Sreekanth Addala directed film is expected to break all previous records when it releases on 29 April, 2016. As of now, the actor's remuneration is bound to give sleepless nights to all other Tollywood superstars!
