Sai Pallavi's Telugu debut Fidaa is doing good business at the box office. The family entertainer, which had released last Friday has so far earned Rs. 35 crore worldwide to be the surprise Telugu hit of the year. Sai Pallavi portrayed the role of a village girl in Fidaa, which also starred Varun Tej.

During the success meet of the film, Sai Pallavi stated that she is not comfortable wearing modern costumes in the films. The Premam actress also added that boys should not misunderstand and take advantage of girls who wear modern dresses.

"People perceive actresses in a different manner when they are portrayed glamorously. I don’t want that to happen with me. I will be happy wearing casual clothes college girls wear normally. Boys should not misunderstand and take advantage of girls who wear modern costumes.

Sai Pallavi went on to say that she wore modern costumes in Fidaa only on her director Shekar Kammula’s request.
