Bhaagamathie​: Trailer of Anushka Shetty​, Unni Mukundan's horror drama released and is undeniably stunning

The official trailer of superstar Anushka Shetty's Bhaagamathie has been released. Directed by G Ashok and jointly produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations, the film is tipped to be a a horror thriller. Bhaagamathie stars Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan in the main lead and will mark his second Telugu outing after the 2016 blockbuster Janatha Garage.

The one-minute and fifty-second long trailer begins with romantic angle of Anushka Shetty and Unni Mukundan. Anushka plays the role of an IAS officer while Unni portrays the role of a village leader. However, the trailer turns into a frightening one when corrupted politicians and police officers decide to take Anushka out of a prison and throw her into a bungalow, which is haunted by Bhaagamathie's spirit.

The trailer also shows Anushka beaten up and thrown off the walls by some unseen entity and nails herself to the wall, which carries a portrait of an unknown woman. The trailer ends on an epic note where Anushka Shetty was seen mouthing dialogues with Bhaagamathie's spirit.

Going by the undeniably stunning trailer, Bhaagamathie looks like a horror thriller which is sure to thrill the audience once it hit the screens on January 26 2017.

Bhaagamathie also stars Malayalam actors Jayaram and Asha Sharath along with Murali Sharma, Dhanraj, Prabhas Srinu, Vidyullekha Raman, Deva Darshan, Talaivasal Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Madhu Nandan.

Similar to Anushka Shetty's Baahubali series, Bhaagamathie too will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
