The much awaited Telugu film Bhaagamathie has cleared the censorship process on Thursday. Directed by G Ashok and jointly bankrolled by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati of UV Creations, the film is tipped to be a horror drama.
Bhaagamathie stars superstar Anushka Shetty and Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan in lead roles. The film also marks the second Telugu outing of Unni Mukundan after the 2016 blockbuster Janatha Garage.
On Thursday, Bhaagamathie has cleared the censorship process and received a 'U/A' certificate from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC). The makers also released the certificate on social media, which also revealed the run time of Bhaagamathie as 2 hour and 22 minute long.
Bhaagamathie also stars Malayalam actors Jayaram and Asha Sharath along with Murali Sharma, Dhanraj, Prabhas Srinu, Vidyullekha Raman, Deva Darshan, Talaivasal Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Madhu Nandan. Similar to Anushka Shetty's Baahubali series, Bhaagamathie too will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The film will hit the screens on January 26.
