Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi is set to make a comeback with his 150th film. It will be the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi. The actor was missing from the big screen after the release of his 2007 film, Shankar Dada Zindabad. His comeback film will be officially launched on 29 May, 2016.
If reports are to be believed, Anushka Shetty will essay the lead role in the film. The film, titled Kathilantodu, will be directed by VV Vinayak. The Baahubali heroine's role was initially offered to Nayanthara. However, in a recent interview to a leading daily, Nayanthara quashed the reports stating she is not doing the Telugu megastar's 150th film.
If Anushka does come on board, this will be her second collaboration with Chiranjeevi. The Telugu beauty has earlier worked with him in an item song 'I wanna Spider Man' from the 2006 hit film Stalin.
