Akshay Kumar's Toilet Ek Prem Katha to have a solo release as the Hindi version of Kajol, Dhanush starrer VIP 2 postponed
The release date of Hindi dubbed version of Kajol - Dhanush film VIP 2 has been postponed. The film, a comedy-drama directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya and produced by Dhanush was earlier scheduled as an August 11 release along with it's Tamil and Telugu versions.
It has been now finalized that only Tamil version of VIP 2 is hitting the screens this Friday. The actual reason for the sudden change in the release date of Hindi and Telugu versions is yet-to-be-revealed, however there are reports that makers have decided to postpone the Hindi version to avoid clashing with Akshay Kumar's Friday release. VIP 2 will also see Bollywood actress Kajol returning to the Tamil film industry after a gap of 20-years. Her previous Tamil film, Minsara Kanavu was released in 1997. The film also stars Saranya, Amala Paul and Samuthirakani.
