After Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan to star in the Bollywood remake of this Kamal Haasan blockbuster

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s 1995 film Sathi Leelavathi is touted as the one of the biggest hits of Tamil film industry in the 1990's. The film, directed by Balu Mahendra and produced by Kamal Haasan was later remade in Bollywood titled Biwi No 1. The David Dhawan directorial starred Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor in lead roles and went on to become the second highest grosser of 1999.
If Bollywood media reports are to be believed, then David Dhawan is planning to remake the film once again with his son Varun Dhawan in the lead role. Earlier this year, David Dhawan had remade Judwaa 2 which featured Varun Dhawan in dual roles.
An official confirmation on this is expected to be announced soon.
