After Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar's 2.0, Shankar to unite with Kamal Haasan for Indian 2?

It's known that Tamil director Shankar has wrapped up the shoot of his most ambitious project, Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0. The sci-fi thriller bankrolled by Lyca Productions for a massive budget of Rs. 450 crore is touted to be the costliest Indian film made till date.

However, there have many rumors about the upcoming film of Shankar after the release of 2.0. Many medias reported that Shankar's next film is with Thala Ajith.

And the latest buzz doing the rounds since Friday is that the hit maker might be collaborating with none other than legendary actor Kamal Haasan.

Reportedly, Kamal Haasan and Shankar are teaming up for the sequel to their 1996 blockbuster Indian. The vigilante crime thriller was a massive hit among the critics and audience alike. Indian featured Kamal Haasan in a dual role and went on to become the best actor at National Film awards.

Apart from Ulaganayakan's acting, Indian also won National Film awards for best art directions and best special effects as well. The film was also India’s official submission for the Academy Award for best foreign language movie. Also, the climax of Indian ends with a possible sequel to the film.
