Actor Rana Daggubati's father Daggubati Suresh Babu booked in car accident case; 3-year-old and two others severely injured

The Baahubali actor Rana Dagubatti's father Daggubati Suresh Babu has been booked in a car accident case on Sunday night. Daggubati Suresh was travelling in Honda CRV rammed into a family travelling on two-wheeler leaving them severely injured. The three family members were travelling on Honda Activa were severely injured near Imperial Garden, Karkhana.

As per the reports, the car with number TS 09 EX 2668 collided with a Honda Activa near Imperial Garden at around 10.30 in the night. The victim identified as Satish Chandra (35), Neelam Durga Devi (30) and their 3-year-old child Siddesh Chandra fell on the road and survived with severe injuries.


 

All the three were immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment. The family was coming from KPHB colony to their relatives’ house in Lallaguda when the accident took place.

“Family riding on active were seriously injured and were shifted to Yashoda hospital, Secundrabad. Daggubati Suresh was travelling from Paradise to Bowenpally and he was driving on the wrong side form Imperial garden a route,” said Karkhana Police Station House Officer, Sri.

The case has been registered on Daggubati Suresh Babu under Section 337 of Indian Penal Code and also issued a notice under Section 41 of CrPC. The Tollywood producer is yet to appear before the police and give an explanation.
