Aamir Khan starrer Dangal's Kerala theatrical run ends, emerges all-time biggest Bollywood grosser

2016's biggest blockbuster, Aamir Khan starrer Dangal's theatrical run at the Kerala box office has finally came to an end. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and jointly produced by Aamir Khan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is based on the true story of former wrestler-turned-coach, Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Upon its release, Dangal created history by surpassing Mohanlal's Pulimurugan to become the fastest Rs. 1 crore grosser and Rs. 2 crore grosser at the Cochin multiplexes.While the Mohanlal blockbuster took 16-theatrical days to record Rs. 2 crore at the Cochin multiplexes, Dangal has crossed the same in 15-theatrical days.

And now, at the end of its final theatrical run across Kerala, Dangal has minted a whopping Rs. 11.50 crore at the Kerala box office. Similar to its worldwide box office feat, Dangal also emerged as the all-time biggest blockbuster at the Kerala box office.
