63rd Filmfare Awards (South) 2016: SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning, Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu lead with 9 nominations

The nominations for the 63rd Britannia Filmfare Awards were announced in Hyderabad on 7 June. The star-studded award event will be held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre on 18 June.

SS Rajamouli's epic fantasy film Baahubali: The Beginning and Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu bagged nine nominations each out of 10 categories. Kanche and Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju have six nominations each.

Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Jr. NTR, Prabhas and Nani will be battling out for Best Actor award while Anushka Shetty, Nithya Menen, Hebah Patel, Tamannaah and Shruthi Haasan have been nominated in the Best Actress category.
