2.0: Karan Johar to host launch of Rajinikanth - Akshay Kumar film at Yash Raj Studios
The first-look launch of Shankar's Robot 2 is slated to be unveiled on Sunday, 20 November.
The film, which is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions for a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore, stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
Catch had previously reported that the official first look launch of the sequel to Robot - the 2010 blockbuster - would be unveiled in Mumbai on 20 November.
According to the latest update on the film, Bollywood director-turned-producer Karan Johar will host the star-studded event in Mumbai. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director will host the first look launch of Robot 2 at Yash Raj Studios at 5pm on 20 November. Legendary composer AR Rahman and sound-engineer Resul Pookkutty will also attend the event.
The event will be telecast live on YouTube and on Lyca's Android and IOS applications.
