​2.0 : Final schedule of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer underway at Mahabalipuram
Tamil director Shankar has started the final schedule of his upcoming film, 2.0in Tamil Nadu. The film, a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. 2.0 also marks the Tamil debut of Akshay Kumar. Produced by Lyca Productions for a whopping Rs. 400 crore, 2.0 is touted to be the biggest Indian film ever made till date.
According to the latest update, final schedule of 2.0 has started on Monday at a specially erected set in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. Reportedly, few crucial scenes featuring the lead cast, Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson will be canned in this schedule and with this, the entire shooting of 2.0will be completed.
The Thalaivar will be donning two different roles in 2.0, as scientist Vaseegaran and Chitti - The Robot while Akshay Kumar will be seen in a villain's role, as scientist Dr.Richard. The film also stars Adil Hussain and Kalabhavan Shajon.
2.0 is slated to hit the screens on Diwali 2017.
