India’s Deepak Kumar claimed a memorable silver medal at the Asian Games 2018 in the men's 10m air rifle event while his teammate Ravi Kumar who had won bronze medal in the mixed 10m Air Rifle event with Apurvi Chandela.

India's ace shooter Deepak Kumar beat Chinese Taipei’s Shaochuan Lu by a near-perfect 10.9 by Deepak in a third-place shoot-off. Ravi Kumar and Deepak Kumar, both Indian shooters made their way to the finals after finishing in the top 8 of the qualifiers.


Indian shooter Deepak Kumar becomes India's first silver medalist at the Asian Games 2018 and third medalist overall. He also joined the duo of Ravi Kumar and Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia as the Indians to have won medals at the event so far.
