ISRO to train school students under this programme and give a chance to send satellites into space

It must be a dream come true for those students who wanted to go to the space station as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced a new programme under which school students in the space station.

ISRO has announced the launch of the Young Scientist programme on Monday and under this programme, class 9th students will be trained in space science and technology.

However, ISRO chief K Sivan had announced the programme in January and had urged to all the state education departments to cooperate in this programme and make it to a successful training programme.

The Indian Space Research Organisation has launched a special programme for school children named ‘Yuva Vigyani Karyakram’ or Youth Scientist programme. This programme will help in educating the students about space technology, space science, which will also increase their interest in space-related activities.

ISRO will ask the students to address problems and buy solutions from them, K Sivan told the press in January.
