Pakistan's Waqar Younis celebrates 30 years of friendship with Sachin Tendulkar in a special way

Former Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis celebrated his 30-year long friendship with former Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. Waqar Younis took to his official Twitter handle to share the special message on the day when Sachin was inducted in the ICC’s hall of fame list.

Waqar Younis wrote, “I can’t forget a little inning he played at Sialkot 1989 and a Hundred at Chennai 1999.. From pitch side to the commentary box.. Thirty unbelievable and amazing years.. Lovely sharing commentary box with you #LittleMaster @sachin_rt #CWC19.”

Sachin Tendulkar and Waqar Younis have played cricket together in the 90s and now they do commentary together. Sachin and Waqar were commentators in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded the Little master with their prestigious hall of fame award and thus Sachin became the sixth Indian to receive the award. Bishen Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and Anil Kumble are the other Indian cricketers in the list. Sachin is the only cricketer in the list who has played more Test matches than any other player.

Allan Donald was the other cricketer who was inducted in ICC’s hall of fame list and thus he became the second player from South Africa to be named in ICC’s hall of fame list.
