Watch: TN Congress workers thrash journalist for clicking pictures of empty chairs at party meeting

A photojournalist was reportedly attacked by Congress workers for clicking pictures of empty chairs at public rally in Tamil Nadu.

According to news agency ANI, Tamil Nadu Congress workers manhandles and thrashed a photojournalist who were allegedly clicking pictures of empty chairs at a public rally by the party in Virudhunagar.


Congress workers' high-handedness was caught on camera. The visual shows how party workers manhandled the photojournalist identified as RM Muthuraj and tried to snatch his camera.

RM Muthuraj from a Tamil weekly magazine, was taking photographs of empty chairs at the party's election meeting in Tamil Nadu.

The incident took place on Saturday  in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar district. Muthuraj is said to have been admitted to a local private hospital.

Meanwhile, BJP SG Suryah slammed the Congress party for the act of its workers and called them goons.
