UP Horror! 19-year-old girl repeatedly raped by father for 6 years; gets pregnant thrice; forced to abort twice

In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old teenager was allegedly repeatedly raped by her 40-year-old father in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district for long six years. The accused who is an autorickshaw driver by proffession tried to sexually abuse his daughter again on Friday night. This the time when the incident came to light.

According to TOI reports, the accused repeatedly abused the victim for 6 years. During this period she became pregnant thrice and was forced to abort twice. The victim is currently nursing a two-month-old infant.

“Fearing assault, harassment and social stigma, the mother of the victim never complained to the local police. The woman was also forced to undergo abortion twice by her father,” a police official said.

After two months of delivery, the accused married her off to her boyfriend and when she returned home for a long stay, he again tried to sexually assault her. This time, however, she fought his advances and called the police.

“A couple of days back, the victim returned to her parents’ home for a brief stay, during which the accused man once again attempted to sexually abuse his daughter. However, this time the woman confronted him and call the cops,” senior sub-inspector Harish was quoted as saying by TOI.

An FIR has been filed and the accused is arrested by the police. He has been a book under IPC sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily hurt), 376 (rape) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
