Udhampur attacker Naved's information not found in official records: Pakistan media

Pakistan's National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) haven't found Udhampur attacker and suspected Laskhar terrorist Mohammad Naved's records.

According to official sources, suspect Usman Khan alias Muhammad Naveed is not a Pakistani as his information was not found in the NADRA record, reported by The Express Tribune.

Earlier today, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, "Preliminary interrogation of the captured terrorist reveal his identity as Mohammad Naveed Yakub alias Usman, a resident of Faisalabad in Pakistan. He also revealed the identity of his slain accomplice as Mohammad Nomen alias Nomin, resident of Bhawalpur, Pakistan.

As many as 14 BSF personnel were also injured in the attack. Two heavily armed militants attacked a BSF onvoy in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir , on the morning of 5 August. While one militant was gunned down, other was captured alive.
