Telangana Board of Intermediate results 2016 declared; girls outperform boys

Telangana State Board of Intermediate results were declared on Friday, 21 April. The results have been declared for 1st Year General Results, 1st Year Vocational Results, 2nd Year General Results and 2nd Year Vocational Results.

Candidates can also check the results by calling the Parishkaram Call Centre (eSeva) - Dial 1100 from BSNL land line or 18004251110 for other land lines /mobile phones.

Girls outshone boys again this year.

The total pass percentage of girls stood at 72.09 per cent, while that of boys is merely 64.02 in Inter Results 2016. The total pass percentage is around 73.78.

Earlier this week, AP Inter Results 2016 were declared, where girls outperformed boys.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Telengana, handles the system of Intermediate education in the entire state. The exams were held in March 2016.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, who is also the state minister for education, declared the results.

According to latest reports, Ranga Reddy has topped the first and second year results.

Meanwhile, the BIE has also released the datesheet for advanced supplementary yoga. The exams will be held between 24 and 31 May. Interested candidates need to pay the fee by 30 April.
