Skill training to increase income of poor farmers and laborers: Rajiv Pratap Rudy

"Skill training will increase the income of poor farmers and laborers from two to three thousand to eight thousand," claimed Minister of State (Independent Charge) Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

In an interview given to Jagdeesh Chandra, CEO, Zee Media, during his weekly program 'A Dialogue with JC', Rudy said, "We are going to the Monsoon session with great achievement of Goods and Services Tax."

Talking about the government's (Bharatiya Janata Party) vision for the next two-and-a-half-years, Rudy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has many targets for India.

"Today, the Prime Minister has started the work of skill in the parallel of education. In two years we have so much work to complete," he said.

Rudy added that all this is a big task and will take some time.

On asking whether Rudy thinks that BJP can return in 2019 he said, "There is no doubt about it. We go to every corner of the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Gujarat to Assam till Arunachal Pradesh and we feel this vibration among the people who wants us to go ahead and do excellent work."

He further said that the vibration is very strong in Uttar Pradesh but does not seem the same in Delhi.

Talking about the hundred days of Yogi Adityanath's government since his government was formed, Rudy said, "Yogi ji is doing good and he is experienced. There is no doubt that there are many challenges but he seems to be doing very well."

Talking about things the government has done during its constituency, Rudy said, "In Bihar, we want National Highway from our Chhapra to Muzaffarnagar's NH 19 which had been closed for a long time but was re-started after getting Rs 250 crore. We have our training Center is for children. Between Patna and Chhapra, the Ganga Rail Bridge was going on in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government was started, electricity was provided in many villages."

He said that the condition in Bihar is very bad and the people of India have no idea about it.

On being asked 'when does he think the good day will come, Rudy said he cannot say anything about Bihar.
