Siddartha Das surfaces. Claims Sheena is his daughter out of wedlock

Investigators have managed to track down Siddartha Das, after initial rumours emerged of him fleeing to Bangladesh.

IBN7 reports say that Siddartha Das has claimed to be Sheena Bora's father. Sheena, born in 1987, was the product of a live-in relationship with Indrani Mukerjea.

The couple also birthed Mikhail in 1988. Das has maintained that he stayed at Indrani's residence, along with her parents. He also added that after three years, Indrani suddenly abandoned him.

In 1989, Indrani allegedly disappeared after telling him that she is going to Shillong to complete some work. But she never returned.Das says he even went to Shillong in search of her, but his efforts were in vain. After he returned to Guwahati, he was denied entry to the house by Indrani's parents. Das then shifted to Kolkata and started a new life.

He now resides in Dum Dum area with his wife and 16-year-old son. Siddartha Das in his interview with Times Now, claimed that the Mumbai Police hadn't contacted him with relation to the Sheena Bora murder case. He also said, "I am ready to tell everything to Mumbai Police. I will provide my DNA samples too."
