Parents said in the complaint that the school have kept their children without food and water in the room for around five hours. However, they get rescued when the parents came to school to collect their children.

However, school principal denied all the allegations have been made by the parents on the school. She also said to a news channel that basement is not a place to give the punishment, it is an activity room for the children where they play and learn music.

Meanwhile, Police has registered a case under Indian Penal Code Section 342 (wrongful confinement) and Juvenile Justice Act section 75 (cruelty to child) at Hauz Qazi police station on Monday.

According to the Police, the notice has been sent to the school principal. Police will also be registered all the statements of the children parents who were confined by the school.
