Congress’ newly recruit Shatrughan Sinha, who recently shifted from BJP on Saturday mocked saffron party and asked ‘who is Pappu’ and turned out to be a real “feku” after losing the assembly elections in all three Hindi heartlands Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh Assembly polls that concluded last year.

Where BJP in its rally constantly addresses Congress President Rahul Gandhi as ‘pappu’, in counter Congress terms Prime Minister Narendra Modi as "feku" accusing him of making lofty and fake promises. "Now please tell us who is Pappu and who has turned out to be the real feku. Who won elections in three states," Sinha asked.

Actor-turned-politician Sinha claimed that PM Modi is known for his false promises and said he continued to do so for 2022, 2024, 2029 even though he is not going to be PM at that time.

On the other hand, Sinha praised Congress president and described as "dashing, dynamic and of course charming".

Shatrughan Sinha also claimed that the demonetisation and GST had rendered lakhs of youth jobless, and destroyed small and middle traders. "I am a persistent critic of Narendra Modi on issues such as the Rafale deal, demonetisation and GST because an arrogant PM did not consult senior party leaders and cabinet ministers on these issues. That is why I resigned from the party and joined the Congress," he said.

Sinha also predicted that winning the 2019 Lok Sabha would be "impossible" for Narendra Modi.
