Shaheen Bagh Protest: Mediators reach protest site to talk to protesters

The Supreme Court appointed mediators have reached the Shaheen Bagh, the heart of the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests. Both the interlocutor are on stage right now.

Previously, the mediators had put down terms ahead of their visit to the Shaheen Bagh protest site. The interlocutor had stated that they would no go to Shaheen Bagh site if the media is present there.

Senior advocate Sanjay Hegde arrived at the Shaheen Bagh protest site and has announced that he would not speak to the demonstrators untill the media is present at the location.

On Wednesday, Advocate Sanjay Hegde, Sadhana Ramachandran and Wajahat Habibullah, in their first effort to talk to the protesters at the Shaheen Bagh, went to the protest site to reach out to the women and attempted to find a way out of the deadlock.
