Senior BJP leader LK Advani turns down AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal's invite after accepting it for a function; BJP silent
After BJP lost miserably in the state assembly election, the Aam Aadmi Party had invited BJP’s senior leader Lalkrishn Advani to an event and the leader after accepting it has now denied it.
The BJP functionaries were unhappy with the decision of Advani after he accepted the invite of the AAP leader to be the chief guest of the silver jubilee of Delhi Assembly but later on, Advani has declined to attend the event.
The Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari, “Kejriwal’s outlook is negative. I know, he has not invited Advani with a positive mindset but still he should go there.”
Tiwari further added that “The AAP leaders, especially its chief Arvind Kejriwal, are known to push their political agenda on almost any platform. Advani may inadvertently become their tool in this case.”
PTI quoted saying, “I do not see any problems in Advani joining the function. I feel some people should go nearer to AAP leaders and Kejriwal so that their negativity could be removed.”
