Samajwadi Party feud: Here are the 3 names accused of orchestrating Yadav PariWar

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav may have downplayed the ongoing feud between his son Akhilesh and brother Shivpal. However, it appears as though the crisis in Uttar Pradesh's ruling party may not end any time soon.

Late on 15 September, Shivpal Yadav resigned from his position as state chief despite having been given his portfolios. While his resignation wasn't accepted, speculation is rife that the party may soon see a division ahead of the crucial UP Assembly polls in 2017.

Following the feud, party leader and CM Akhilesh's uncle Ram Gopal Yadav indirectly blamed Amar Singh for the crisis. Here is a list of the faces who have been accused of orchestrating the crisis in the Yadav family:

Real estate 'king' Sanjay Seth

Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP and Lucknow resident Sanjay Seth has been being blamed for the crisis.

According to Patrika sources, Seth is a close friend of Prateek Yadav, who is Mulayam's son from his second wife Sadhna. Sources say that while Akhilesh does not like Seth, the latter's positive equation with Prateek and Amar Singh helped him win a Rajya Sabha nomination.

However, the real estate businessman's equation with Amar Singh has helped him bag the contract to construct the Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre, which is estimated to be a Rs 580 crore project.

Subhash Chandra's 'love' for Shivpal

Another name that has been making the rounds is that of media tycoon Subhash Chandra. An advisor to Shivpal, Chandra was also present with him in a meeting with Mulayam in Delhi.

According to sources, Chandra played a major role in helping Shivpal bring his son-in-law and IAS Ajay Yadav on deputation in Uttar Pradesh from Tamil Nadu.

Is Raja Bhaiya's 'grudge' to blame?

Independent MLA Raja Bhaiya, who supports the Samajwadi Party, is accused of playing a role in the ongoing crisis within the Yadav clan.

Akhilesh took away Raja's portfolio, but due to Mulayam's interference, he was given a berth in the UP cabinet.

According to sources, Raja Bhaiya is backing Shivpal and Amar Singh and wants to a say in the ticket distribution process for the upcoming polls.
