In what can be called as a game-changer meeting ahead of the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, superstar Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan met yesterday as the former invited Haasan to his daughter’s wedding.

Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth’s wedding is due on February 11, 2019 and both the mega stars met each other, after hugging and sent a clear message to the election pundits that the pre-poll alliance cannot be marked out, even after ideological differences prevail between the two leaders.

Although, Rajnikanth has yet not announced his political party but has definitely hinted that he will be doing so in the coming times as he wants to carry on the legacy of Amma, the late CM J Jayalalitha and make Tamil Nadu developing again.

But, Kamal Haasan has announced his political party and has also been open in criticizing the national leadership led by PM Naredra Modi and will be fighting the Lok Sabha election on all 39 seats of Tamil Nadu.

Kamal Haasan has said, “Our hands are untainted and we have to be careful.”

It would be interesting to see how the AIADMK, DMK, Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth and other regional/state parties perform as the turbulence and political uncertainty continues in the state and over the leadership of E. Palaniswamy and O. Paneerselvam.

BJP is eying for an entry into the state where the Opposition at times, even claims that the current AIADMK government is a proxy face and the state is being run by the BJP, under the barb of RSS ideologue Gurumurthy.
