BJP president Amit Shah while rallying in Nagaur has leveled allegations against Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, saying that his company received thousands of crores and Congress remained silent.

Amit Shah, who is rallying extensively in Rajasthan has mentioned about a report of The Indian Express, in which a company had received thousands of crores loan while the commission was linked to the Nehru family’s son-in-law Robert Vadra.

Amit Shah stated, “Today the front page of Indian Express says that a company got a loan of thousands of crores&its commission reached Nehru family’s son-in-law with which he bought 150 hectares of land. I want to ask Rahul Gandhi if he can answer now.”

Earlier, Enforcement Directorate had served a notice to Robert Vadra, in which it had summoned him relating to the land deal case.

Shah targeting Rahul Gandhi in the Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya case said that the loans which the businessman turned fugitive took were in the UPA’s rule and it was in the partnership of the Congress party but Rahul Gandhi remained silent about these issues.

Shah said, “He(Rahul Gandhi) asks why did Nirav Modi&Mallya run away? These loans were lent during your tenure. They didn’t run away during Congress govt as they had a partnership. But when Modi govt came, they were afraid of being put behind bars.”

The Rajasthan election is scheduled for December 7 and the result will be declared on December 11, while many pertinent issues have come up including clean drinking water, unemployment, inflation, loss through GST and demonetisation, mob lynching but the election has been focused on communal issues like Ram temple, Hanuman, cow etc. and has turned towards the mobilization of voters. Although, the rates of anti-incumbency in the state is a bad sign for CM Vasundhara Raje, who is eying for a second consecutive term.
