Punjab: Blast in Sangrur paper mill kills 2 and injures 21
At least two people were killed and 21 others injured in a blast in a boiler at a paper mill at Malerkotla in Sangrur district of Punjab on 22 August.
The injured have been rushed to the hospital. Malerkotla Sub-Divisional Officer and police officials visited the site and inspected the spot.
Though authorities are conducting an investigation into the matter to find the cause of the blast, it still remains unclear whether it was a technical mishap or negligence by the authorities that led to the blast.
