PM Modi's first reaction after deadly incident: 'Have given free hand to security forces, will give Munh-Tod jawab'

As the condemnation of the deadly Pulwama attack continues, PM Modi’s has addressed the nation after the incident and strictly said that ‘those behind the attack have made a huge mistake.’

PM Narendra Modi has warned the terrorists and Pakistan for their cowardly act and has stated in strong terms that “The terrorists...they have made a big mistake. You will have to pay a very heavy price. I assure everyone that the forces behind the attack. We will bring them to justice.”


While paying tribute to the martyred soldiers of the CRPF, PM Modi reiterated the nation’s feeling and said, “logon ka khoon khaul raha hai, yeh main samajh raha hun. Humare suraksha balon ko purn swatantra de di gayi hai.”

While giving red signal to Pakistan and its involvement in the Pulwama attack, PM Modi said, “If our neighbour which is totally isolated in the world thinks it can destabilise India through its tactics and conspiracies, then it is making a big mistake.”

Meanwhile, thanking the countries for supporting and condemning the attack, PM Modi also expressed his anger in strong terms and said, “I thank all the nations who have supported us and condemned this incident in the strongest of terms. A strong reply will be given to this attack.”

Earlier, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, after a meet of Cabinet Committee on Security, announced that India withdraws ‘Most Favored Nation’ status from Pakistan and added, “MEA will initiate all possible diplomatic steps which are to be taken to ensure the complete isolation from the international community of Pakistan of which incontrovertible is available of having a direct hand in this act.”
