PM Narendra Modi confers National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 at Vigyan Bhavan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi confers National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi on Wednesday. The NYPF was launched by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore on 12 January to encourage the youth to engage with public issues and understand the common man's point of view.

“PM Modi in 53rd 'Mann Ki Baat' on 31st Dec '17, had shared his idea of organizing Youth Parliaments for young people. He has always inspired us to set new standards. The youth consider him an icon,” Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said at National Youth Parliament Festival 2019.


The NYPF 2019 has been jointly organised by National Service Scheme and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It has been organised on the theme of Be the Voice of New India and Find solutions and contribute to policy.

Youth between age group of 18-25 years were invited to participate in the District, State and National level Youth Parliaments. Over 50 thousand youths participated through Youth Parliaments at all levels. However, the National Level Finals of the festival concluded yesterday with the announcement of winners.
