PM Modi likely to get the invitation from Pak PM Imran Khan for SAARC summit

India and Pakistan relations always faced the ups and downs since the partition. In a major boost to improving the relationship of the two countries, Pak PM Imran Khan decided to invite the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

As per the reports, Imran Khan government decided to invite the PM Modi for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit.

Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman Mohammad Faisal said in a conference about the invitation for PM Modi.

After sworn-in as Pakistan’s new Prime Minister, Imran Khan wrote a letter to PM Modi on 14 September. In the letter, Khan has responded the greetings of PM Modi on his election victory.

This is another step by Imran Khan after he sent the letter to PM Modi this year and talked about the constructive engagement between India and Pak and invited him to Pak.

Their previous letter was talked about the constructive engagement and also talked about the former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who worked to make India and Pak's relations better and also wanted a stronger SAARC. However, Atal Bihari Vajpayee died this year.
