As the election season has set in, Prime Minister Narendra Modi while rallying in Ahmednagar, has taken upon the Congress and the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ and asked the citizens to vote wisely in the 2019 polls.

PM Modi, while invoking the popular jibe of Rahul Gandhi ‘Chowkidar Chor hai’ said that voters will have to choose between 'Imandar Chowkidar' and 'bhrashtachari naamdar’.

While addressing the rally for Ahmednagar and Shirdi constituency, PM Modi sharpened his jibe at the Opposition and praised his governments work that the world has recognised India as super power in the last five years, adding that “Do you remember the previous ten years of the earlier remote-controlled government? Scams and delays in decision- making were the order of the day. You need to now choose between Imandar Chowkidar and Bhrashtachari Naamdar.”

PM Modi thereafter reached out to the first time voters and appealed them to think wisely before voting and said that the grand old party has been compromising over the national security and it could be dangerous for the nation in the long run.

Prime Minister said, “hose born in the 21st century will be voting for the first time. Do you agree with the weak approach of previous governments of compromising national security. Is this acceptable to you?”

Congress’ ally Nationalist Congress Party was not spared by PM Modi and he questioned the authenticity of Sharad Pawar, who had formed the NCP keeping nation in mind and above all things.

PM Modi called out Sharad Pawar stating, “Congress, NCP aise logon ke sath khade hain jo keh rahe hain ki J&K ko Bharat se alag kar denge. Mujhe Congress ke logon se koi umeed nahi hai kyunki ye paap unhi ki paidawaar hai.”
