'Please keep her save,' requests Robert Vadra in a Facebook post on wife Priyanka Gandhi, as she rallies in Lucknow

As Priyanka Gandhi battles around Uttar Pradesh in a roadshow, her husband Robert Vadra has put up a Facebook post requesting the people to keep her ‘safe.’

Vadra, who is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate on the charges of alleged scandal in the land deal case has said that “Now we hand over her to the people of India, Please keep her safe.”


In his Facebook post, Vadra has written, “My Best wishes to you P, on your new journey of working in Uttar Pradesh and serving the people of India. You have been my best friend a perfect wife and the best mother to our Children. There is a very Vindictive and vicious political atmosphere... But I know, it's her duty to serve the people and Now we hand her to the people of India. Please keep her safe.”

Earlier, Robert Vadra had tweeted by congratulating her wife saying, “Congratulations P... always by your side in every phase of your life. Give it your best.”

Today, Priyanka Gandhi held a roadshow in Lucknow and launched her political campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of 2019, where she would be handling the charge of 42 Lok Sabha constituency as the General Secretary of the Eastern UP.
