Odisha: Kavita Jalan is new Cuttack DCP, 21 SPs transferred in massive reshuffle

In a bid to reshuffle the Superintendent of Police (SP) rank officers, the Odisha government has transferred at least 21 SPs in the state.
Sanjeev Arora, the former deputy commissioner of Police (DCP), Cuttack has been replaced with Kavita Jalan.
Jalan, an IPS officer of 2003 batch, was working as the SP of the Keonjhar district.
Arora has been posted as the SP of Angul, while the current Angul SP, Pandit Rajesh Uttamrao, has been posted as SP, Keonjhar in place of Jalan.
Asish Kumar Singh, SP of the Baragarh district, has been transferred and posted as SP of the Bolangir district.
