1 was killed and 3 were injured when a private helicopter, on 11 December, reportedly crashed in Mumbai's Aarey Colony. The crash occurred near Royal Palms in an area known as Fitler Pada.
The helicopter, a Robinson R44 Astro model, 1992 model was originally owned by Pawan Hans. However, it was sold to a private aviation company which used it for providing joy rides after it underwent repairs.
Aarey Colony is located in Mumbai's Goregaon East suburb. Fire tenders and ambulances have been rushed to the spot.
