MP: Shocking! 12-year-old girl gang raped, beheaded by uncle and brothers in Sagar

In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar village, a 12 year-old girl was gang raped and beheaded allegedly by her brothers and uncle on March 14.

The body of the girl was found on the same day and the police has said that she was strangled and beheaded.

The family, which started to look for her when she did not return from school, filed a police complaint of “missing” at the police station in the district.

As per Amit Sangh, senior police officer, “Our two senior officers collected all evidence and recorded the statements of the family members. When everything was pieced together, we found that she was raped and murdered by her brothers and uncle. We arrested the uncle and one of the brothers.” Sanghi further added that they have recovered blood-stained clothes and the murder weapon- a sickle, from the crime spot.

It was after postmortem and a medical report, police officials said, that rape of the girl was confirmed. Although, they arrested one of the two brothers and the uncle, one brother is still on run.
