The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has canceled his plan to visit the Enforcement Directorate office in Mumbai, following the request of the city police commissioner.

"I will not visit the Enforcement Directorate office for now, " said Pawar.

"Mumbai Commissioner of Police and Joint CP meet me today and requested me not to go so that the law and order situation remains under control" the NCP chief added.

Pawar had announced his plan to visit the ED office on Friday afternoon.

While NCP leader Nawab Malik informed that the ED has sent an e-mail stating that Sharad Pawar is not required to visit the office today.

When required, the ED will intimate him. But, Sharad Pawar is firm to go to ED office, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said the government should've seen what is happening. Enforcement Directorate (ED) should have had a discussion with the government on this. Sharad Pawar ji is a tall leader, his followers are present throughout the state, this will certainly have some reaction.
