A 23-year-old man died on 23 May in a suspected case of electrocution. The deceased, Brijesh Singh, a manager with a private firm, died while he was working on his personal laptop in Delhi's Govindpuri area.

Family members told the police that Brijesh had plugged in the charger of the laptop just minutes before he was electrocuted.

A team of the forensic experts has begun investigating to ascertain the exact cause of the death. The laptop and its charger have been seized by the police and have been sent to the lab for further investigation.

Police are also discussing the case with the doctors to find out about Singh's health. A probe has been initiated under the Section 174 of CrPC. The police said that it could be a case of electrocution as the house is not equipped with the proper earthing wiring connections.

The police may also speak to the manufacturer of the laptop.
