Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis gets SC notice for not declaring criminal cases in 2014 election affidavit, reported news agency ANI.

Supreme Court today issued a notice to Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, after hearing a petition filed by Satish Ukey, claiming that the CM had allegedly concealed the pendency of two criminal cases against him in his 2014 assembly election affidavit.

In the petition before the apex court, Satish Ukey, a lawyer, said CM Fadnavis didn't make the mandatory disclosure of criminal cases against him.

Ukey alleges that the Maharashtra Chief Minister concealed information on two criminal cases pending against him-one cheating and other defamation in the affidavit.
