Lok Sabha MP Renuka Sinha passed away at age 67

67-year-old Renuka Sinha breathed her last on 17 August due to a heart attack. She was a Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) from Cooch Behar and All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) leader.

Sinha, 67, died at 8.30 p.m. at a private hospital. She contested from Cooch Behar and won the 2014 Indian General Elections. She was a graduate from Calcutta University.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took to twitter to express her grief, "Very saddened. Our sitting Lok Sabha MP from Cooch Behar Renuka Sinha passed away. Deepest condolences to her family. Rest in Peace."
